Lenten Lunchtime Prayer

Lent is comprised of forty days in which we can live to change our life and the world. Forty days in which we ought to turn our gaze, our thoughts and our prayer to Jesus so that he may help us to change and prepare to live the great mystery of Easter, that is passage from death to life.

During Lent, the Community of Sant’Egidio in Washington DC invites you join the Lunchtime Prayer each Tuesday at 12:45 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Matthews (1725 Rhode Island Avenue NW), to be held in Saint Anthony’s Chapel. The Community of Sant'Egidio is a worldwide movement of lay people based upon prayer, service, ecumenism, dialogue, and friendship, especially with the poor.  For more information of you can visit: www.facebook.com/santegidiowdc/info or email: santegidiodc@gmail.com.
