Fall Lecture Series on "The Joy of the Gospel"

Very Rev. James Greenfield, O.S.F.S. is the provincial superior of the Wilmington-Philadelphia Province of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, since 2008. He is the current president of the Congregation of Major Superiors of Men (CMSM) through August 2016. Fr. Greenfield has many ties to Washington DC, as he studied at the De Sales School of Theology, and George Washington University, earning a master degree in Divinity and counseling. Father earned a doctorate in human development and served on the faculty of GW and Washington Theological Union where he also served on the board of trustees. 

Fr. Greenfield is a certified pastoral counselor and leads retreats, parish missions and days of recollection, also the author of articles on religious life, seminary formation and the interrelation of spirituality and human formation. Father is also one of the Cathedral’s weekend presiders at the Sunday, 5:30pm Mass.
