Please consider facilitating or co-facilitating a Faith Sharing Group this Lent (February 18 - March 30). An informational gathering for facilitators, including prospective facilitators, will be given on Sunday, February 8 from 3 to 4:30pm in the North Conference Room.
The gathering will include an introduction to our Lenten book selection: Church of Mercy by Pope Francis and the companion Discussion Guide. The session will include tips for facilitating groups useful for new or seasoned faith sharing facilitators. Paul Gallagher, an Educational Consultant for Loyola Press, will facilitate our gathering.
Prior to joining Loyola Press, Paul spent many years working as a Director of Religious Education at a large suburban parish in the Baltimore Archdiocese. His love of Ignatian Spirituality led him to begin doctoral studies in on this subject at Catholic University, and he hopes to graduate in 2015. Although he leads several adult faith formation programs at his parish, including RCIA and a weekly Men’s Group, a highlight of his week is teaching an 8th grade religious education class.
