The Archdiocese of Washington and the Association of Ecclesial Movements and the New Communities will sponsor the Adult and Family Rally & Mass for Life on the morning of the National March for Life on Friday, January 22, here at St. Matthew’s Cathedral. Register to attend at www.adw.org/jan22.
The Rally & Mass will mark the 43rd anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade. Gather in prayer for an end to abortion and a renewed recognition that "[m]an has been given a sublime dignity, based on the intimate bond which unites him to his Creator: in man there shines forth a reflection of God himself.” (John Paul II, The Gospel of Life, n. 34) For more information, contact the Department of Life Issues at 301-853-4555 or email@example.com.
The 9am Rally features keynote speaker Mark Pickup. Mass begins at 10am and will be celebrated by Bishop Mario Dorsonville with Fr. Dan Leary as homilist.
