Toward a Lenten Spirituality: Balancing Crucifixion and Resurrection
The Lenten season provides powerful metaphors for our spiritual journey—suffering and woundedness balanced by healing and hopefulness. Only by disarming our hearts can we be opened to encountering the God of surprises and embracing the reign of God breaking through.
Come apart, rest awhile, and practice seeing with new eyes as we are led by lay theologian Robert McCarty, D.Min. on Saturday, February 24, 10am-2:30pm in the Great Hall, including a break for the 12:10pm and lunch, which is provided.
