Join us as we commemorate the life of President John F. Kennedy on the fortieth anniversary of his death. A Mass of Remembrance honoring America's only Catholic president will be held at 7:30 p.m.

A special musical prelude will begin at 7:15 p.m., featuring English composer Herbert Howells' Take Him, Earth, for Cherishing, written in 1963 and premiered at the National Cathedral in 1964. Fr. Bryan Hehir, director of Catholic Charities USA, will be the guest homilist. All are welcome.

The text reads,
"HERE RESTED THE REMAINS OF PRESIDENT KENNEDY AT THE REQUIEM MASS, NOVEMBER 25, 1963, BEFORE THEIR REMOVAL TO ARLINGTON WHERE THEY LIE IN EXPECTATION OF A HEAVENLY RESURRECTION."
