175th Anniversary Celebration Begins!

On Sunday, January 25, 2015, Msgr. Jameson and the Cathedral clergy, staff and hospitality volunteers welcomed many parishioners and friends for Choral Vespers, an Ecumenical Prayer Service, with Msgr. Jameson presiding, music by our Schola Cantorum, a Gospel reflection by Rev. Cheryl Sanders, Pastor of the Third Street Church of God, and a musical reflection by Evelyn Simpson Curenton. Enjoy some photos of this beautiful opening event of our parish's 175th Anniversary celebration.

The Annunciation of the Lord

On Wednesday, March 25, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord. Join us at one of our regularly scheduled weekday Masses on this beautiful feast day celebrating a pivotal event in salvation history.

Norma Canedo, St, Matthew's Social Concerns Facilitator, spoke to attendees about St. Matthew's Emergency Assistance Program, the designated beneficiary of that evening's almsgiving.
