Religious Liberty - MD Bishops Speak Out

Maryland‟s Catholic bishops invite you to read and reflect upon their new statement, The Most Sacred of All Property: Religious Freedom and the People of Maryland. The document reviews the history and role of religious freedom in our society, highlights present-day threats to this freedom, and offers ways to get involved. A blessed and joyful Easter season to all our parishioners and friends, from Msgr. Jameson and all the the priests, deacons and staff of St. Matthew's Cathedral! Congratulations to the newest members of our Catholic family! During the Holy Saturday Easter Vigil, six persons were baptized, confirmed and received their First Eucharist; six baptized Christians made their profession of faith and were confirmed and received their First Eucharist, and three baptized Catholics were confirmed and received their First Eucharist! Please welcome them in your hearts, and keep them in your prayers.

Summer Clothing Donations for Homeless Ministry (Donaciones de ropa para el Ministerio de personas sin Hogar)

The Social Justice Committee is looking for new or lightly worn men’s sleeveless t-shirts, shorts, jeans, and sneakers. / El Comité de Justicia Social busca donaciones de ropa nueva o ligeramente usada para hombres: camisetas de mangas cortas, pantalones cortos, jeans y zapatos de tenis.
