The 7am weekday Mass is not celebrated at the Cathedral during the months of July and August. During these months, weekday Masses are celebrated at 8am, 12:10pm and 5:30pm, and Confessions are heard from 11am until Noon. The 7am Mass will resume on Thursday, September 1.

Pope Francis' visit to St. Matthew's Cathedral, long impressed on our hearts, is now memorialized in a commemorative plaque on the wall behind the statue of Mother Teresa and the Homeless Man.
Adult Confirmation registration is now open. Download a packet that includes the registration form or pick one up at the Cathedral Rectory. Completed registrations are due by Monday, April 11.
The 7am Mass is cancelled from Monday, April 4 through Friday, April 8 due to the vacations of two of our rectory priests and the unavailability of several regular extern priests. We regret any inconvenience.
Our parish is participating in Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Rice Bowl program as a way to encounter Jesus through others, especially through the most vulnerable in the world. Your Rice Bowl donations will be collected after Masses this weekend, April 2-3. Thank you for your participation.

Bro. Thomas Davenport, O.P., a Dominican friar studying for the priesthood and currently assigned to St. Matthew’s, was ordained a Transitional Deacon on Saturday, March 5. He will serve as deacon and preach for the first time at the Cathedral’s 11:30am Mass on Sunday, March 6, and will preside at our monthly Eucharisitc Holy Hour on Monday, March 14.
