The University of Notre Dame recently hosted the virtual Notre Dame Vita Institute, an intensive intellectual formation program for leaders in the national and international pro-life movement. The videos from this series offer excellent insights into pro-life apologetics and social action. The Archdiocese of Washington Office of Life Issues will host a small group discussion series to talk about these videos and their implications here in the Archdiocese.
The discussion schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, July 21: “When Does Human Life Begin? The Scientific Evidence" by Rev. Nicanor Austriaco, O.P. (watch archived video via this link)
Tuesday, July 28: "U.S. Abortion Law and Policy" by O. Carter Snead, Notre Dame Law School (watch archived video via this link)
Tuesday, August 4: "Feminism and Abortion" by Jessica Keating (watch archived video via this link)
Tuesday, August 18: "Resisting A Throw-Away Culture" by Rev. John Paul Kimes (watch archived video via this link).
Each participant will review the video lectures on their own, and we will join a discussion group together on Tuesdays at 6PM each week to review each topic. If you are interested in taking part in this discussion series, please contact Kathryn Windels at email@example.com
