Adopt-a-Family

The Adopt-a-Family program provides gifts and material assistance to low-income families in our community for Easter, Back-to-School, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Through partnership with neighboring businesses and the parish’s generosity, this program has provided thousands of gifts to hundreds of families over the past several  years.

Advocacy & Education

St. Matthew’s supports Catholic social justice teachings on, and participates in advocacy efforts related to, issues that include poverty, access to healthcare, and affordable housing, and environmental justice, among others.

Clases de Ingles (English Language Classes)

The 13-week Spring semester will run from February 11 to May 14. During this period, classes will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, with optional pre-class tutoring between 6:00pm and 6:30pm. / El semestre de la primavera, con una duración de 13 semanas, empieza del 11 de febrero al 14 de mayo. Durante este periodo las clases se llevarán a cabo los martes, miércoles y jueves por la tarde de 6:30 a 8:30 de la noche, con tutoría opcional de 6:00 a 6:30 de la noche. Las clases de inglés serán impartidas desde el Nivel 1 (principiante) hasta el Nivel 5 (avanzado). 

Creation Care Team

The Creation Care Team is dedicated to developing a deeper awareness of our duties to God’s creation and to taking action at the individual, state, and national levels with a focus on prayer, energy efficiency, conservation, and advocacy efforts.

Respect Life

The Respect Life Ministry is concerned with promoting and cultivating a culture of life and witnessing to the dignity of all human life, from conception to natural death.
