Lunchtime Recital

Daniel Carroll, a senior at St. John's Catholic Prep in Frederick, MD, presents an organ recital at 12:40pm on Wednesday, May 3 2023, following the 12:10pm Mass. Join us in the Cathedral or via the livestream.

Meet the Artist

Daniel Carroll has been playing the organ in churches since the age of twelve. He is now an assistant organist at two parishes and has played at several other churches in the greater Washington area. This past summer, Daniel attended the Summer Organ Intensive at the Curtis Institute of Music. During the intensive, he played in concert on the Wanamaker organ, and at Field Concert Hall. He is currently a senior at Saint John’s Catholic Prep in Frederick, Maryland, and plans to attend conservatory in the fall.

Daniel Carroll will play works of Vierne, J. S. Bach, Rorem, Franck, Guilmont, and Demessieux. The concert is free and open to the public and will be livestreamed on our YouTube Channel.
