Labor Day Mass 2026

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington invites you to join us for a special Labor Day Mass on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 11am, organized by The Catholic Labor Network. This special Eucharistic celebration will take place at the Cathedral of Saint Matthew the Apostle in Washington, D.C..
Cardinal Robert McElroy, Archbishop of Washington, will serve as the principal celebrant.
As we approach Labor Day, this liturgy offers our community a dedicated time to pray for all workers, honor the dignity of human labor, and reflect on our shared Catholic social teachings regarding economic justice and human rights. All are welcome to gather in person or participate from afar.
Immediately after the Mass, everyone is invited to join us for a gathering in the North Conference Room, where they can learn more about the Catholic Labor Network.
