Black Catholic History Month

The Promise

Join the Social Justice Committee for The Promise, a special gathering honoring Our Lady of Kibeho and reflecting on her message of prayer, repentance, and reconciliation. All parishioners are warmly invited to participate in this meaningful celebration of faith and reflection. Together, we will pray the Seven Sorrows Rosary, led by Lydia Clegg and watch and a special video presentation exploring Marian apparitions from around the world, including Our Lady of Guadalupe, Lourdes, Fatima, and Kibeho, Rwanda.

The program will also feature the video " Miraculous Apparitions of the Virgin Mary Path to Holiness,” with Spanish subtitles.

It will take place on Sunday, November 8, from 2pm - 4:30pm in the North Conference Room. Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact: Willy Escobar: wescobar@stmatthewscathedral.org or Lydia Clegg: ldclegg627@comcast.net.
