“The courage to take a risk for God’s promise” is the theme of Pope Francis’ message for the 2019 World Day of Prayer for Vocations, instituted by Pope Paul VI during the Second Vatican Council and observed on Sunday, May 12. All members of the Church are charged with the work of fostering priestly and religious vocations.
