Concert Dedication of Great Organ

Dedicatory Organ Recital & Post-Concert Reception

St. Matthew's Lively-Fulcher Great Organ Inaugural Concert Series begins Friday, September 20, the Vigil of the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle's patronal feast, with a 7:30pm Dedicatory Recital featuring Nathan Laube, one of the finest young organists in the world. A reception follows in the Great Hall. Extended hours in the parking garage for this event.

Join us for this special concert, which kicks off this series in celebration of the completion of our Lively-Fulcher Great Organ, following its rededication and public performance debut on May 10, 2019. Read about the May 10, 2019 Great Organ Rededication Concert.

One of the most celebrated and sought-after recitalists in the world, Nathan also serves as Assistant Professor of Organ on the faculty of the Eastman School of Music. His recent appearances have included the first inaugural recital of the restored Harrison & Harrison organ of King’s College Chapel, Cambridge, as well as performances at Nôtre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, and St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

He is uniquely qualified to launch this series celebrating the completion of our magnificent French Romantic organ in our superb acoustics.
