Our 2021 Virtual Lenten Lecture series focuses on the three pivotal spiritual practices for our personal and communal Lenten journey of faith: prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Go deeper into these three forms of expression of interior penance, which for Christians are said to express conversion in relation to oneself, to God, and to others. 

On Tuesday, February 23, join us via Zoom for "Prayer as Awesome Glory," utilizing the 2019 publication, “Awesome Glory: Resurrection, in Scripture, Liturgy and Theology” by Abbot Jeremy Driscoll, OSB for our reflection upon prayer as awesome glory.

Our Speaker

Theresa Prymuszewski, St. Matthew's Pastoral Associate for Faith Formation, and a trained spiritual director, earned a BA in Religious Studies and a minor in Philosophy from the Dominican Caldwell College, a master’s degree in Counseling from University of North Carolina in Greensboro, and is a national certified counselor and a licensed clinical professional counselor. She earned a master’s degree in Theological Studies with a concentration in spiritual direction from Washington Theological Union, and a certification from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops as a Certified Lay Ecclesial Minister. Theresa has over thirty years' experience in diocesan and parish ministry.
