Join Fr. Jack Hurley and friends on Wednesday evening, June 22 for a discussion of "The Mighty and the Almighty: Reflections on America, God, and World Affairs" by recently deceased former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. We will meet from 7 to 8:15pm in the West Conference Room.

The subject will complement the last meeting's discussion of "God's Diplomats." Critiques of the work have described it as "fascinating," "superb and unique," "riveting and compelling," "a frank, intelligent, and engagingly written book about an urgently relevant topic," "a tour de force", and so on.

While first published in 2006, it remains a well-written reminder of the import of religion on the international scene.
