Join Cardinal McElroy for a Mass of Thanksgiving commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence on Sunday, July 5, at 11am at Saint Matthew's Cathedral or via livestream. Together, let us offer gratitude for our country's blessings and entrust its future to God's grace.

Our hearts are with the people of Venezuela as they face the devastating aftermath of the recent earthquake. In moments like these, our prayers can be joined with concrete acts of charity. We encourage those who are able to make a donation through Catholic Relief Services (CRS) by clicking here, which works alongside the local Church and trusted partners to provide emergency assistance, shelter, food, clean water, and other essential aid to communities affected by disasters around the world. In addition, our 2nd Collection at all our Sunday masses will be for Venezuela via CRS.

On Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day (July 4), Masses are celebrated at 7:30am and 12:10pm (no Confessions or Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament), the Cathedral opens at 7am and closes after the 12:10pm Mass, and the rectory office is closed. Enjoy the 250th birthday of our country!

Masses on Wednesday are at 7:30am, 12:10pm, and 5:30pm. The 12:10pm Mass will have cantor and organ. The Vigil Mass is held on Tuesday, June 23, at 5:30pm.
