Mulholland Family Foundation & St. Matthew's Cathedral
The Social Justice Committee invites you to participate in a Lenten Food Drive organized by the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation and St. Matthew's Cathedral. The Foundation, which serves low-income individuals and families of the District of Columbia, will ensure that your gifts are distributed to those in need. Your donations of non-perishable food items will be gratefully accepted at all Masses on March 4/5, 2023.
Paper bags for your donations will be available at Masses on the weekend of February 25/26.
Most Needed Items
- Cheerios (or other cereals low in sugar)
- Canned tuna or chicken
- Canned vegetables (green beans, corn, peas)
- Canned fruit of any kind
- Peanut butter and jelly (plastic containers)
- Pasta and pasta sauce
- Canned soup (hearty/chunk varieties are best)
- Canned baked beans

Mulholland Family Foundation y Catedral de San Mateo
El comité de Justicia Social les invita a participar en la colecta de alimentos de Cuaresma organizada por la Fundación de la Familia John S. Mulholland el fin de semana del 4/5 de marzo de 2023, después de todas las misas. La Fundación, la cual sirve a personas y familias de bajos recursos del Distrito de Colombia, se asegurará que sus regalos sean distribuidos a las personas en necesidad.
Bolsas de papel para sus donaciones estarán disponibles en las misas el fin de semana del 25/26 de febrero.
Alimentos más necesitados
- Cereal Cheerios (o otros bajas en azúcar)
- Atún o pollo enlatado
- Verduras enlatadas (frijoles verdes, maíz, guisantes)
- Fruta enlatada de cualquier tipo
- Mantequilla de maní y jalea en recipientes de plástico
- Frijoles al horno (enlatados)
- Pasta y salsa para pasta
- Sopa enlatada (las variedades abundantes / gruesas son las mejores
- Frijoles horneados enlatados
