The Mystics: An intentional community at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle
Saturday, January 11, 9am-2pm, in the North Conference Room. All are welcome every second Saturday of the month!
A mystic is someone who prays and experiences God deeply. Then, they share their experience. The Church has a rich history of mystics inviting us to know God and to be free and happy.
Join a small, intentional community dedicated to exploring the Christian mystical tradition. Together, we will learn how to incorporate mysticism into our daily lives through practices such as silent prayer, readings and discussions on mystics, sharing, communal meals, and time for solitude and reflection.
We will meet every second Saturday of the month starting January 11. Spiritual practice, study, and community will form the heart of these meetings. Join if you want to grow closer to God, be a part of a dynamic spiritual community, and learn more about the mystical tradition.
