Christmastide Organ Recital

St. Matthew's Cathedral Principal Organist Paul Hardy begins our Cathedral Great Organ 2026 Concert Series with a recital on our Lively-Fulcher Organ at 3:15pm on Sunday, January 11, 2026, the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord. The concert is free and open to the public. Come, bring a friend, and enjoy delightful organ works on holiday themes, including the works of Joseph Jongen, J. S. Bach and Frank Bridge.
Meet the Artist
Paul Hardy has been the Principal Organist of the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle since 2000. He also assists the musicians at the Basilica of the National Shrine as organist and carilloneur. Paul studied organ with Dr. Robert Grogan. He also works as a Database and ETL Developer at American University in the Office of Information Technology.
