Creating a Culture of Encounter, Solidarity, and Collaboration - Rev. Thomas Ryan, CSP via Zoom

Tue., November 24, 2020 7:00pm ·

Join us online on Tuesday, November 24 at 7pm as we welcome Rev. Thomas Ryan, CSP (Community of St. Paul) for a reflection on Pope Francis' October 3 Encyclical, "Fratelli Tutti."

Timely Wisdom from Pope Francis

Pope Francis’ encyclical, "Fratelli Tutti," could not have arrived at a more timely moment than during this uncontrolled pandemic which is forcing us to recover our concern for everyone. It speaks appropriately to us as a single human family, as fellow travelers sharing the same flesh, as children of the same earth which is our common home, each of us bringing the richness of his or her beliefs and convictions, brothers and sisters all. Its perspectives are like a pair of glasses with divine lenses, enabling us to see ourselves with the eyes of God, in solidarity with one another regardless of race, color, or creed. Can you imagine living with such a vision? Need a new pair of lenses? This talk will give you a chance to try these glasses on . . . .
