Live News Conference from St. Matthew's Introducing His Eminence, Cardinal Robert McElroy, Archbishop-Elect, Monday, January 6, 10am.

All are welcome in the Cathedral to celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, and the Jubilee Opening on Wednesday, January 1, at 11am. Cardinal Wilton Gregory is the principal celebrant and homilist.

All are welcome in the Cathedral for a bilingual (English & Spanish) Thanksgiving Day Mass on November 28, 2024, at 10am (the only Mass of the day). The Cathedral opens at 9am and closes after the 10am Mass. The rectory office is closed. We wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Save the Date for the Cathedral's Pilgrimage to France in 2025, with Spiritual Director Rev. Msgr. W. Ronald Jameson! We are excited to announce that we will be visiting Paris and Lourdes, departing from Washington-Dulles on Weds April 30 and returning on Thurs May 8.

Please be advised that the 12:10pm Mass will not be celebrated on Wednesday, October 16.

Special second collection this weekend, October 12 & 13. Many communities will continue to be severely impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. We join our prayers with those around the country. In addition to our prayers, a second collection will take place this weekend to support recovery efforts. The second collection will go to Catholic Charites USA. They are there on the ground helping those most in need. We thank you for your generous support.
