El mes de octubre conocido como el “mes morado” en Perú por las procesiones multitudinarias, celebramos a Nuestro Señor Jesús en la advocación Señor de los milagros, devoción que se ha extendido en la Iglesia Universal e incluso en Roma cuenta con una comunidad de feligreses que realizan una procesión en la Plaza San Pedro. La Catedral como todos los años haras la Novena al Señor de los Milagros via internet del 16 al 24 de octubre de 7:00 a 8:00pm. Que culminara con la Santa Misa el 25 de Octubre. Los interesados pueden comunicarse con el Diacono Juan al numbero de telefonono a 202-415-4306 o coreo electronico a Juanjocaypi@gmail.com.

If you are a registered parishioner at St. Matthew’s and need a letter of good standing in order to be a godparent for a baptism to be celebrated at another parish, please email the rectory office, or call the office at 202-347-3215 to ask about obtaining a letter.
Parents who wish to have their child baptized at the Cathedral should email the Baptism Coordinator. Parents should contact us at least six (6) months in advance of a desired baptismal date, and may ask for the priest or deacon of their choice to perform the Baptism.
To arrange a Mass intention, call the rectory office at 202-347-3215. There is no fee for a Mass intention but an offering of $5 – $10 is customary for each intention. During this period of rectory office closure, if a Mass card is needed, please provide your name and mailing address when you call.
